yesterday we went to the little snail restaurant in the city to enjoy a french lunch =D

in the morning the sky was really grey and it was drizzling and i hoped it wouldn't be like this for the rest of the day..

buuut it so turned out that it was like that for the whole day; the worst conditions to go to the city with everyone D: aiyaa tsk D:

but, when we got there, the restaurant was really cute! you could see the water in the harbour from the biiiiiig glass window and it was a really pretty view.. except.. there was no sun T_T

entree was snails.. yes.. i kinda got scared when they presented us with the utensils we needed to use to eat them.. kinda like when the person gives you the thing to eat the crab :L

the shells were pretty and the taste wasn't too bad.. you had to fish the meat out of the shell though.. kinda like getting a mussel out of its shell..

the meat was black/grey and i was really reluctant to eat it.. when i chewed on it though.. it tasted like mushroom.. which isn't too gross :) until nellie started contributing comments like 'what if it suddenly starts crawling in your mouth?' .. that girl.. =='

main was chicken wrapped in bacon with a red wine sauce and mashed potato..

seriously, i cannot describe how smooth the mashed potato was or how nice the sauce was; let alone the chicken&bacon <3

dessert was chocolate mousse <3 kinda sweet as i kept spooning but it was veeeryyy nice (Y) :D

when we left there was still no sun.. which was sad.. i like the sun <3 keeps you warm :)

buuuut it was a really great meal :)

probably the fanciest lunch i've ever had :D
